Sarria Butler

Sarria Butler is a dynamic actress based in Australia. A recent graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), she earned her Diploma of Acting in 2024. Sarria has demonstrated her versatility across film, theater, and commercial projects, making her a rising star in the industry.

Her film credits are extensive, including leading roles in "Shadowland Part 2" and "Shadowland Part 1" as Ella, and standout performances in "Was It All Worth It" (2022) and "The Violent Suppression of Desire" (2021). Sarria's theater experience is equally impressive, with notable roles in "The House of Bernarda Alba" as Angustius (2023), and various performances at WAAPA, including "Uncle Vanya" and "Julius Caesar."

In the commercial and web series domain, Sarria has lent her talents to projects such as the Matagarup Bridge Climb VR Experience and the voiceover for a youth disability non-profit video host by Cahoots/Sunburnt Films. Her role as Janet in "Blood Money 4," directed by Jason Malcolm Moore, further highlights her range.

 

Sarria's dedication to her craft is evident in her continuous training, including workshops with industry professionals like Annie Murtagh-Monks and Tony Knight. She is also skilled in screen and stage combat, has a high level of physical endurance, and is currently learning French and playing the piano, violin, and guitar.
