Paul Maddams

Paul Maddams is a versatile actor with an impressive presence, standing at 192 cm, and a broad range of experience in film, short films, and podcasting. Based in Perth, Paul has played various roles across different genres, showcasing his ability to adapt to both serious and lighthearted characters.

Paul’s recent work includes starring as Shane in the short film Ranger Danger (2024) and playing the role of a father in Swim (2024). His feature film experience includes a role as an extra in Bruce Beresford's Overture (2024) and a featured extra part in Footprints (2004). Paul also had notable performances in short films like Highest Treason (2004), where he played the character Craig, and Inheritance (2004), portraying a father figure.

 

In addition to his on-screen performances, Paul co-hosted the popular podcast Reptile Chat W.A. from 2021 to 2022, where he shared his passion for reptiles, a topic close to his heart, as the owner and presenter of Mad Pauly’s Reptile Removal. His background in wildlife and reptile handling adds a unique dimension to his abilities, making him well-suited for physically demanding or niche roles.

Paul Maddams continues to expand his portfolio with engaging performances in both dramatic and comedic roles, bringing authenticity and depth to each character he portrays.
