Caleb Haidary

Caleb J. Haidary is a versatile and dynamic actor based in Perth, Australia. With a solid foundation in both stage and screen performance, Caleb has honed his craft at the prestigious West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), earning a Diploma of Acting and a Certificate of Screen Performance.

Caleb's television credits include a notable role as Farzam in the acclaimed series "The Heights," directed by James Bogle and Andrew Prowse. His film experience features roles in productions such as "How to Please a Woman," where he played a barista under the direction of Renee Webster, and "Below," directed by Maziar Lahooti.

In the realm of short films, Caleb has showcased his range through various characters, including an improvisational comedian in "TOD Talks" directed by Owen Merrimen, Robby in "The Hammer" directed by James Maloney, and Casey in both "Armoire" and "Parallel," directed by Aaryn Bath. His performance as Ali in "Tribunal," a project by Mason Fleming in collaboration with WASA and ScreenWest, further highlights his adaptability and skill.

Caleb's extensive training and experience have equipped him with a diverse set of skills. He is proficient in various acting styles, including Brecht, Grotowski, Meisner, Method, Shakespearean, Sketch, Stand-up, and Stanislavski techniques. His improvisational abilities span general, long form, musical, and short form.

Beyond traditional acting, Caleb is skilled in circus arts such as clowning and juggling, and he is well-versed in combat sports, kickboxing, martial arts, and Tae Kwon Do. His dialect repertoire includes American (Southern, Midwestern, New York), Australian, British, Canadian, Cockney, French, German, Irish, Latin American (Colombian), Liverpool, Received Pronunciation, Scottish, South African, and Welsh accents.

Caleb's linguistic abilities extend to fluency in English and French, and his performance skills encompass card tricks, impersonations, magic, miming, puppetry, whistling, and yo-yo tricks. With a tenor vocal range, he is also adept at musical performances.
